Luxury Hotel Partners to operate trophy London boutique hotel
The Cadogan Estate has appointed Luxury Hotel Partners to operate The Cadogan in London. www.cadogan.com
Luxury Hotel Partners took over the management of the boutique 65 bedroom hotel in early July, the property is situated on Sloane Street in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge.
The hotel is owned by The Cadogan Estate, the freeholder of approximately 90 acres of Chelsea stretching from Knightsbridge to the Embankment.
The property was once the home of Lillie Langtry, the famous actress and close friend of King Edward VII. After she sold the house, Lillie still used to stay in her old bedroom (109), by then part of the hotel. However, The Cadogan is perhaps best known for its association with Oscar Wilde.
Popular with local London residents and well known for its afternoon teas, it provides a home for celebrities and international guests seeking a personal and welcoming atmosphere. Its central location makes it a top choice for London’s regular visitors with a well deserved reputation for excellent service.
